FAIRCO Id

• This repository is the single source of truth, and current only purely printable characters are official (for example, not in Markdown comment, not passed commits because it can be wrong and corrected afterwards)
• Comes from FAIRly COarse + COllective=distributed IDentity
• Like Bitcoin : freedom, mondial, self-custodial
• Twitter X.com @faircoid for user info = vulgarization
• Aims :
  • international
  • accessible (remotely, not like Twitter @worldnetwork = WorldId)
  • minimal cost, free if possible
  • devs friendly (not like state Identité Numérique, La Poste, ...) : free by this Open Source project
  • distributed (from human to another one, the network diffuses)
  • unicity ( by official state documents validation )
  • hierarchic only for validation and branch revocation : not sure branch can be revoked
  • fight against pitfall of WorlId : you can not give your keys to another for fraudulent commercial use.
• Means :
  • from now, only official state identity card will be looked at, number will be hashed and published in this repository as ids.txt file, if and only card is juged official.
  • the hash will be recorded with the judge FairCo Id
  • each FairCo Id is in a relative treeish graph with a confidence level, changing with events, branch or edge removal if any doubt, ...
  • let an issue here if you request an identification to obtain your FairCo Id
  • physical id card exploration will have high confidence level, based on photo, fingerprint in future
  • remote one by unidirectional cam will give lower but valid FairCo Id level
  • to solve, re-identification process can be requested
  • any app dev can request certain level of confidence
